What we collect, why, and how to reach us about it.

Who is responsible for your data

Orders: name, email, shipping address, phone and order details, to deliver your order and meet our tax obligations.
Payments: handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
Coffee waitlist: your email, only to tell you when the coffee launches. You can ask us to remove it at any time.
Welcome offer: your email, to give you your code and to send you MAKO news and offers. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Contact form: your name, email and message, to reply to you.
Visit statistics: we count pages viewed and where visits come from with PostHog, without cookies and without identifying you.

Stripe (payments and checkout), Netlify (website hosting and form messages), Zoho (our email), Brevo (our newsletters) and PostHog (visit statistics, hosted in the EU).
Some of these providers may process data outside the EU, under safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. We never sell your data.

Order records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires. Waitlist and welcome offer emails are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Contact messages are kept for up to 12 months.

You can ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or move your data, object to its use, or withdraw consent, by writing to support@makoessentials.com. You can also complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).

This website sets no advertising or analytics cookies. Fonts are served from our own website. Product photos load from our image host, and the homepage 3D animation loads a library from Cloudflare's cdnjs, so those services receive your IP address. Your browser keeps a small note of your basket, your language and whether the intro has played. Stripe's checkout pages use their own cookies.
